The F4U-4 is the final version of the legendary Corsair series used during World War II. This series was delivered to the US Navy in early 1945 and was equipped with a Pratt & Whitney supercharged engine producing 2100 horsepower.

The MODSTER MDX F4U is the ideal first warbird model for advanced beginners with basic aileron flight experience. Thanks to its high maximum speed and excellent maneuverability, it also provides great enjoyment for experienced pilots. The model offers three flight modes (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert) that can be adjusted according to the pilot's skill level.

Aerobatics at the Push of a Button

The F4U-4 is equipped with a special aerobatic switch on the remote control, allowing basic aerobatic maneuvers such as loops and rolls to be performed at the push of a button. A pre-installed 6-axis gyro system stabilizes the flight attitude during all maneuvers, ensuring safe and precise control.

Robust and Durable

The Corsair is a high-quality model made of durable EPP foam. A propeller saver reduces the risk of damage to the propeller and extends the model's lifespan.

Flight Duration and Control

The flight duration ranges from about 7 to 15 minutes, depending on how often and how long full throttle is used. The standard 2.4GHz remote control is delivered exclusively in Mode 2, meaning the throttle is controlled by the left stick.
